“These findings suggest that methylphenidate suppresses the increased functional connectivity observed in ADHD and that such suppression is associated with improved performance. Our findings support the suggestion that the increased functional connectivity we have observed in ADHD is associated with abnormal DMN activity. … While MPH modulated DMN task-related inhibition, increased motivation had a similar effect to MPH … higher DAT levels, and hence reduced extracellular DA, was associated with reduced DMN suppression in a visual attention task. … The enhancement of task related suppression of the DMN by stimulant medication is consistent with suggestions of inadequate DMN suppression as a causative factor mediating attention deficits in ADHD.”

تو درمان ADHD اول باید دوپامین رو زیاد کنیم چون کمبودش باعث میشه مغز نتونه خوب تمرکز کنه یا تصمیم بگیره. سازماندهی شبکه‌های مغزی مهمه اما بدون دوپامین کافی نوروپلاستیسیتی کار نمی‌کنه و مغز نمیتونه اتصالات قوی بسازه
